PAVILION

The world has been hit. Humanity has lost touch with nature. Sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, ammonia and hydrogen chloride caused gradual atmospheric corrosion. That, combined with the amount of lead covering 37% of the atmosphere after the war, produced a strong reaction and sank closer to the mainland. Increased level of lead began to kill all vegetation and animals.

The Pavilion production is based on the idea of a post-apocalyptic world and moves on the border between Broadway dance, dramatic performances and a visual-acoustic experience. Actors and spectators find themselves in a disaster-stricken environment. We can observe the turbulent fates of the staff from the Institute of Post-Corrosion Fauna and Flora who keep developing new species. They create an artificial food chain, the representative of which can be seen during the show. Commented trainings, feeding with concrete, illuminated terrariums, rolling stones, snowstorms, cold, sausages, riding on a cholopeus didactylus, some unexpected twists, renewed friendships, flag procession.
